Fuzkittie's Birthday Butterfly Princess Style Bracelet

Hi guys! I've recently received a couple inquiries about the bracelet I sent Fuzkittie for her birthday! She made a really cute video (above) featuring it, along with all her other birthday gifts. To be honest, I don't really even have any pictures of this bracelet since it was just made as a gift for her... lol. Anyway, it seems some of you are interested in purchasing a bracelet just like Fuz's. I am slightly hesitant to make one *just* like hers so I think I'll just switch the pink and crystal AB butterflies and accents in any new ones I make. =)

This bracelet would cost $40 + shipping. For the entire month of September, you'll get a free pair of tiny single butterfly earrings, or upgrade to my signature butterfly w/ dangles for $8.

I also have light green, aquamarine and violet butterflies, and crystal AB stars in addition to the pink ones.

It's very delicate and cute, just like Fuz and I like our jewelries. =)

Showcase of Past Work - Diana

Hi everyone. I am showcasing some of my past custom work, to give an idea of what I can do. This work is from some three years ago, but remains one of my proudest pieces. This is Diana. Her boyfriend, Dom, asked me to make a necklace and two sets of earrings (short and long) for her birthday. Her favorite color is red, he told me. Click on any of the photos to enlarge. =)

Pictured here are the necklace and the shorter, more formal pair of earrings I made for her. They are crystal AB, fireopal and lt. siam Swarovski crystals accented with sterling silver stardust beads and spacers on sterling silver pins and hooks.

Here she is posing with the long, flashier earrings. The necklace is made of the same crystals and sterling spacers, set on invisible fishing line with sterling silver stoppers and a sterling silver clasp. The earrings are made of the same and have a wonderful floating quality.

I think she may have lost one of the earrings, so a year later almost, she asked me to make her another pair for prom. She sent me these pictures:

Butterfly Breeze - bracelet

Introducing SHI DESIGNS first bracelet, called Butterfly Breeze. It is pictured here with CB-1 (sold). BF-4 would go prettily with it as well. The bracelet measures 6.5" with a 5/8" extender. It is made of a sterling figure 8 chain, lobster clasp, 4mm Swarovski bicones and 6mm butterflies.

Here's a pic of what they look like on. I'm sure you guys have seen me wear my own pair of butterfly earrings in many FOTDs, such as here and here. These butterflies are my absolute favorite and what I consider my signature.

Grand Opening! - Introduction

Hi guys!! I'm so excited. This is the grand opening of my jewelry blog. I've been making earrings for ~4 years now on and off. Many of my friends have urged me to sell my wares online, but I was never very good at taking pictures and everything always seemed so complicated. I used to sell to the Columbus Museum of Art and my mom still sells some for me out of her office (she works in administration at OSU) but I never thought to sell it off a blog 'till I saw Steph's jewelry blog. Seeing her blog, as well as many others, really inspired me to get my butt in gear and start making jewelry again.

I specialize in earrings because they're my favorite. I got my ears pierced when I was 18 and afterwards my mom took me shopping... but we couldn't find any we liked! So, I started making my own.

Everything I post here is freshwater pearl, sterling silver & genuine Swarovski crystal unless otherwise noted. (I sometimes use semi-precious gemstones or mother of pearl and those will always be marked.)

I just got a shipment of new crystals today, and my friend is bringing me my pliers back later this evening, lol, so I hope to have some stuff up later tonight or tomorrow!

Please bear with me, as I'm still new to this and learning and all. I hope you guys enjoy my pretty shiny things. =)
